A group of community-mind citizens has been driving the Discovery 1 Park project forward. The Discovery 1 Project Team has developed the park concept, raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in contributions, worked with local design, engineering and construction contractors and oversaw building progress.
All members of the group serve as volunteers, and several have devoted countless hours and made substantial financial contributions to make the Discovery 1 dream a reality.
